Bharat Mittal, DO, MBA
“When it comes to medicine in general, but also pain in particular, it’s important for medical providers to be prepared for anything. One never knows what sort of pain, problem, condition or set of circumstances could come through that front door. My experience as an emergency room physician has helped in this regard, but it’s also about commitment, listening, and taking a holistic approach to doing what’s best for each person.”
Raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Bharat Mittal graduated with honors in biology from Texas A&M University and went on to graduate medical school from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at The University of North Texas Health and Science Center. From there, Dr. Mittal completed his residency in family medicine at Oklahoma State University and then earned his board certification. He then went on to earn his master of business administration degree (MBA) in healthcare management from University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Mittal currently serves as supervising physician at Back Pain & Sciatica Center of Texas and medical director of an emergency room in the Houston suburbs.
When not working, Dr. Mittal enjoys spending time with his wife and takes pride in his role as father to their two handsome boys. He also enjoys partaking in anything sports-related, but is an especially avid player of tennis and basketball.
Lonnie E. Piatt, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner
“After many years of managing disease, I wanted to help people get out of pain by fixing the root cause, not merely mask their symptoms with medications. With a team approach—with the patient at the center—this is what I get to do every day. I love hearing these people talk about how much their lives have improved, and I’ve found that the ability to listen to them is vital to helping guide them to better health.”
Advanced practitioner Lonnie E. Piatt, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, is a Texas native who graduated summa cum laude from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN with a master’s degree in nursing. Prior to that, he earned his bachelor degree in nursing at University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. An army veteran who served for more than 20 years, Lonnie has over 16 years’ experience in nursing, including a background in critical care and primary care. He has a passion for helping people through a collaborative, holistic approach and by providing a patient-centered healthcare experience for every person who come through our doors.
Lonnie is married to Jolyn, a Houston native, and enjoys fishing at local lakes, hiking and long-range recreational shooting.
H. Kala Eulitt, DC, BCN
“I believe every life has value, and each of us was put here for a purpose. Pain and poor health are a major obstacle to being able to live out that purpose and get the most out of life. I derive great joy and personal fulfillment from being able to help others rebuild their health, find relief, and live their life and purpose fully.”
Born and raised southeast of Houston in Texas’ Clear Lake area, Dr. H. Kala Eulitt earned both his bachelor degree in biology and doctorate of chiropractic, graduating magna cum laude from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. Since then, Dr. Eulitt has helped thousands of people—from Olympic athletes to great-grandmothers—get out of pain and embrace a higher quality of life. He is also the author of the groundbreaking book “Stop Wasting Your Time, You Need Health Solutions that Work.”
Dr. H. Kala Eulitt and his wife, Tara, have been blessed with four beautiful children who are happy, healthy and active.
Gabbrielle A. Williams-Hubbard, DC
“I’ve always known that I wanted to help people, and by the time I started college I knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor. Years later, I still love helping people get out of pain, regain function and movement and get back to their lives. Each person is an individual, utterly unique, which means their care should be tailored to them. It’s a necessity, but also something I really love, to learn about them, get to know about them, and understand what gets them out of bed each day. It’s how I’m able to help them.”
Dr. Gabbrielle Williams-Hubbard is the newest team member at Back Pain & Sciatica Center of Texas. She completed her bachelor of science degree in human biology, and later her doctorate in chiropractic, from Texas Chiropractic College, in Pasadena, TX. “Dr. Gabby” previously served as clinic director for a chiropractic practice in Navasota, TX and owned and operated her own chiropractic and wellness center. She was named Best Chiropractor by the Navasota Examiner for 2017-2018.
Dr. Williams-Hubbard is a wife and the mother of two little girls. She is an active member of her community who enjoys volunteering for organizations as well as to help friends and family.
